Since I wrote this post I've arranged for the Heart Foundation to come and collect a vacuum cleaner, toasted sandwich maker, small table lamp and a digital radio.
This is due to happen tomorrow, so more space soon.
If the worst comes to the worst, I suppose I could buy a wardrobe with elastic sides!Ray Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09209429097744326143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948117492116997244.post-40902774454065820712012-02-08T22:52:11.615+00:002012-02-08T22:52:11.615+00:00Well oddly enough Perpetua, I used to say John was...Well oddly enough Perpetua, I used to say John was the hoarder, but on reflection it looks as though I may have got that wrong.
Unfortunately it took his death for me to discover the beam in my own eye.Ray Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09209429097744326143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948117492116997244.post-19721903286868849312012-02-08T22:49:39.517+00:002012-02-08T22:49:39.517+00:00Way to go Theanne!Way to go Theanne!Ray Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09209429097744326143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948117492116997244.post-78451499770533481042012-02-08T07:37:06.051+00:002012-02-08T07:37:06.051+00:00You are doing really well. I don't have so much difficulty with clothes (my main problem is that I put things in bags or boxes to get rid of them and my husband says he'll take them for me -- and then I find them somewhere else because he can't deal with just getting rid of them!) The one thing I have trouble getting rid of are photgraphs :-(The Broadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04976467218216864644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948117492116997244.post-35476057432967773142012-02-07T22:49:13.890+00:002012-02-07T22:49:13.890+00:00Ray, I do sympathise, but my situation is the oppo...Ray, I do sympathise, but my situation is the opposite of yours. I can, and do, get rid of clothes without a qualm as I've never had many and only keep what I know I will wear. It's all the stuff which DH loves to hoard which stops me being able to declutter as I would like. Still, your post has made me think of some things I can dispose of, so thanks. :-)Perpetuahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01214396019726161983noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7948117492116997244.post-63206984985150157232012-02-07T18:28:10.419+00:002012-02-07T18:28:10.419+00:00I was a post war baby...plus I've moved so man...I was a post war baby...plus I've moved so many times in my life and had to give up so many "things" I wanted to keep...that now I save things a while and if I don't use I recycle!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
